Kabir also known as Saint Kabir was a scholar who lived during 1448 AD 2 1518a D. He was born to a Hindu mother and brought up by a Muslim couple during his growing up he was faced with poverty and orthodox religious practices and rigid caste system. Kaveer always conveyed messages of love, compassion, brotherhood and preached tolerance .

Kabir rejected the caste system as well as the varna system. He denounced untouchability.
